Christa Joy is known for her strong sense of melody, resonant storytelling, and charming sincerity. Many of her songs are inspired by her experience growing up in a truckin'-teacher-preacher kind of family in rural Western Mass. She has played at many notable New England venues, including the Parlor Room, the Iron Horse, Club Passim, and the Dreamaway Lodge. Her third album released June 2019.
